On December 6th, 25 students in Ms. Germanie’s French classes attended the 2pm performance of Cinderella at The

Lyric Opera in Chicago, which was performed in French. The lobby was equipped with chandeliers and holiday decorations.  The voices of the opera singers bellowed throughout the auditorium, and the setting was breathtaking. The performance was charming and funny while also heartbreaking, and attendees could really feel how passionate the singers were with just their voices alone. All of the students truly enjoyed this rare cultural event.
