Julia A. Finnigan, a senior centered at J. Sterling Morton West, is a writer for The Sterling, the digital magazine of J.S. Morton West High. Julia deliberately filtered her course selections throughout high school in pursuit of achieving her 9 year-long goals of taking on the fascinating occupation of forensic science. Still pondering her uncertainty, Julia prepares to continue researching colleges in hopes to find her perfect fit, currently, she demonstrates a particular interest in the Loyola University of Chicago, a university well known for its top of the nation forensics program. Other than interests in science, Julia's hobbies range in a vast array of categories, from drawing and arts to sports and athletics, Julia is eager to take on any challenges thrown her way. One major interest Julia takes pride in above all, is music. Julia connects with music deeply, through emotion and passion, Julia falls deep into the bliss music provides, her favorite genres include R&B, Indie, and Alternative, and most importantly, Julia's definite favorite artist, is none other than Abel Tesfaye, otherwise known as The Weeknd.
