The day of the blonde, one night, and one night only seniors are in the spotlight and are recognized for their seniority in their sport and get to show off under the spotlight. On the 20th of January, Mortons Varsity Wrestling team hosted their very own senior night, which was nothing short of seat-clenching wrestling with Morton’s Boys beating Hinsdale South in a close match up of 38 – 32 points!

This year’s senior night was special to everyone with former alumni and new students from both the east and west campuses attending Senior Night at Morton East packing the place up and cheering on the 2023 Varsity lineup. The tradition of the boy’s athletes sporting bleached blonde hair lives on; we love seeing it!

The seniors were presented with posters made by family and friends and were also given gifts. It was a successful night overall and it couldn’t have gone better. It was one final “we will rock you” for the Morton seniors but it isn’t over yet: regionals and state qualifiers have yet to be determined!
