Vanesa Zanella, a senior, is a writer for The Sterling, the digital magazine of J. Sterling Morton West high school. While she is new to writing and publishing, she is determined to make headlines. She was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to the United States when she was only a year old. Now 17, Vanesa is passionate about music: her favorite artists are Brockhampton, Frank Ocean, Current Joys, and others.
