A: I would be a professional wrestler for the women’s American team.

Q: What sports do you play?

A: I am on the cross-country team and wrestling team.

Q: Have you ever gotten injured and wanted to quit the sport?

A: I have gotten injured in both sports and that made me want to quit, but I pushed through the pain because I see the glory in the other side.

A: I first joined wrestling because I wanted to be in shape for track season. I quickly realized that I had fallen in love with the sport.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about cross-country?

A: My favorite thing about cross-country is how the team is very united. We cheer each other on, even when we are in our lowest times.

Q: What inspired you to take on sports?

A: I had been very competitive when I was little. I wanted to do more in life than just go home after school.

Q: Do you ever wish you can have more free time?

A: Yes, I wish I had more free time for sleeping and doing my homework.

Q: What made you decide to take on wrestling knowing you might be the only girl in it?

A: It was a huge challenge in the beginning because I felt that I would not get the same respect as the other people because I was a girl, but I needed to push through it.

Q: Do you ever struggle with keeping up with the standards of the sports you do?

A:  I had struggled last year to just stay on the team. But once I went to the women’s tournaments, I  saw how I’m not the only one that struggles with being a girl in wrestling. It was a huge push for me to work harder than anyone else.

Q: If you could eat one food, healthy or not healthy, what would you eat?

A:  Chocolate Cake!

Q: What’s your biggest fear when doing a sport?

A: My biggest fear is not wrestling anymore because of an injury.

Q: Do you have any goals or accomplishments in the sports life?

A: To be the best that I can be, and to be an inspiration to girls and boys all around.

Q: What’s your favorite sports team?

A: The USA Women’s Wrestling Team.
